Hazard Notice - South Island Connectivity - 04/09
Extensive monitoring overnight has shown resolution to this issue after routing changes and traffic engineering were completed yesterday.
Our team have performed numerous routing changes and traffic engineering for traffic between islands over the course of the day, including changes to backbone paths. There has been no disruption to production traffic throughout these changes.
Testing over the last hour is indicating service improvement and resolution of the upstream traffic fault reported.
Our team will continue to monitor, and perform tweaks as required over the remainder of the day and into this evening.
Due to an upload transmission issue being experienced by some customers located in the South Island, our team will be performing routing changes and traffic engineering throughout the course of the day today (04/09) and into this evening.
While we do not expect any significant customer impact due to a rigorous change and testing plan which has been developed, this hazard notice serves as an informational advisory of works being conducted.
