To further remaining sporadic issues following our upgrade last week, and this weeks subsequent rollback, we have identified a switch with unanticipated behaviour.
This maintenance will move core1-akl2 onto an alternate switch, which once completed will provide relief from these issues, as well as providing further evidence on the behaviour of this switch, and whether it requires replacement.
This work will be completed overnight tonight, and may cause brief interruptions to traffic flows, as traffic is moved away from, and back through, core1-akl2 as a result of this physical change.
